Performs routine and non-professional tasks as assigned by the Charge Nurse in order to meet the personal needs & comforts of the resident.

Preferably a high school graduate who has the ability to read and write with comprehension, ability to follow instructions, dependable, neat in appearance, and compassionate.

Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant consistent with the Connecticut State Health Code requirements.

Must be registered as a nursing assistant with the State of Connecticut within 4 months of employment.


Nursing jobs require  treating patients who are sick and injured, but also offering advice and emotional support to patients and their families, taking care of paperwork, helping doctors treat patients and providing advice and follow-up care.

Registered Nursing license in the State of Connecticut with one year of education and/or experience in rehabilitation and/or geriatric nursing is desired.

Educated in nursing theory and practice, including the administration of medications
